Recycling iconAs well as the recycling centres in each area, there are also a number of local recycling points in our communities where you can take various items for recycling:

National re-use phone line

National re-use phone line 0800 0665 820The National re-use phone line (operated by Zero Waste Scotland) helps people in Scotland donate bulky items to charity. The re-use phone line can help arrange free collections of a wide range of bulky products such as furniture and white goods. To find out what you can donate and get collected in your area call 0800 0665 820. They work with local groups to come and collect your unwanted items, and pass them on to someone who needs them

Special collections for bulky waste

If have large items of rubbish that don't fit in your wheelie bin, such as old beds, furniture, large electrical items or other bulky items, you can arrange for us to come and collect it from your home - find out more on our special uplifts page
